- What to send
- An issued drawing set, a specification or schedule of works, and a programme with the dates that matter. If the documents are large, a short note is enough to start and we will ask for the rest.
Before you send the documents
How quickly can a first reading be ready?
Once the drawing set and schedule are with the desk, a first reading usually takes one working day for a package of ordinary size. A large or phased integration programme may need two or three. We confirm the date in writing before the bay is opened, and we do not accept a bid that cannot be met.
Can you work on an account that is already open?
Yes. Escalation claim reviews and final account sittings are often opened on projects where the estimate was prepared elsewhere. We start by reading the existing record and will tell you plainly if the file is strong enough to proceed or if it needs to be rebuilt first.
Do you take work outside Hong Kong?
The practice is based at the Lippo Centre and works with clients across the region and beyond, provided the documents are in English and the commercial terms can be reviewed in writing. Time zone differences are handled by agreeing the dates that matter at the start of the engagement.
